The Down Side of Anger

Just because I'm a little slow on the get-go I just found out that Acidman passed away. I just happened to look at my site meter search words and someone landed on my blog by doing a search on "acidman suicide". So I decided to check out the Acidman and whoa...sort of a shock. My prayers and condolences for the family.

Now first and foremost I AM NOT SAYING Acidman committed suicide or implying, hinting...whatever. Those were the search words someone used PERIOD. I have no clue of the cause of death and it's none of my business.

I read Acidman for quite awhile...and as probably many in the blog world you loved him or hated him, depending on the day or the post it could be both. I know for a fact no other blog I've ever read could provoke such a wide range of emotions... in me anyway. He had the ability to make you cry tears with laughter or sadness. But damn could that boy piss you off. I've never met the man but there is no doubt in my mind he could make a trigger finger itchy or count ten ways til Sunday how to position your hand to deliver a bitch-slap.

Anyway I had to quit reading Gut Rumbles, although fascinating in a train wreck sort of way, negativity breeds negativity. I can fall in that mode so easily...and no one likes to be around constant smoldering anger and negativity. Sweet Jesus we can't even stand ourselves when we get in that mode. It's nothing but self-pity, ugly and oh so very selfish. We've all had one or two people in our lives who fits that mold. I've definitely gone in and out of it in my life.... and please God may you send someone to bitchslap me into next week if it starts again.

But then again, if you whine, complain and be nasty on your blog...does it vent your frustrations so you can be "nice and pleasant" in the real world? Or is it just indicative of who you really are? Somehow I don't like that idea.

Blizzards and Spammers

It's blizzarding out. It's dark, dreary, 12 degrees and I can hear the wind howling through my windows. I haven't a clue how much snow there has been so far, I'm not sure if I want to know. Just another winter day in Michigan.

Looks like I'll top 50,000 hits sometime today. That somewhat amazes me, but yet let's be real here. I have had lots of help from the comment spammers this past year. This spring, summer and fall they brought me to my knees until Dean Esmay heard my cries in the wilderness and led me out. My comments are only open 2 days now so they've gone on to greener pastures.

A friend of mine, a fellow blogger is now beginning the descent into hell with the spammers. It does take the joy out of blogging when you see your blog has been raped and pillaged by pornagraphers, having to spend 30-60 minutes a day removing the crap. Whoops and there goes your time to blog and you are reduced to a sniveling, whining fool that other people just don't get until they are targeted. Again, thank you Dean, it's really taken almost what, 3 months now to not cringe every time I sit down to open my email or look at my blog. I'm sure if it was still going on, I would of shut down this blog by now.

So the joy of blogging has been returning, I'm sure you probably noticed the posts are a little more frequent lately. I think that will continue. If you are one of the handful of people that do drop by routinely, I thank you. I think it's safe now to give out some link love again without sending the packs of vultures to your site. I hope, I hope.

Broken Comments

Dean Esmay was kind enough to point out to me yesterday that my comments are FUBAR, broken, trashed. Here I was rejoicing because I hadn't received any spam for a few days. Anyway he said he could fix it for me, bless his heart. If for some reason he can't...they will have to stay forever broken because it's way beyond me to fix the problem.

Can You Hear Me Now?

Sunday morning and I'm up at 5:30, what's with that? But the coffee is good, the complex is quiet and there is something about this time of day that soothes the soul.

A friend of mine introduced me to "podcasting" this week. Seems others call it audioblogging. I can tell you very quickly what I do and don't know about it, which there is alot I don't know. It's basically what it sounds like voice blogging to your website. Some of them you need special software to listen too but I find that most I just hit the link if I'm using AOL and it streamlines without downloading. Yea! I have enough crap on this computer.

So after listening to several "podcasts" I've found on Audio.weblogs.com yesterday and today the jury is still out. I think if you find one that hits your interests you'll keep coming back just like to your favorite weblogs. Also just like weblogs you might have to sift through some crap before you find a jewel. I've noticed as I sit here and cruising sites on the web and listening to podcasts I've tuned out what's being said. But I have a short attention span. Short and sweet is more up my alley.

So that's what I know for now, if you want to know more do a google search, there are a ton of links.

What Are Blogs?

I'm continously amazed when I run across someone who doesn't know what a blog is. It happens alot. Often I'll mention some little tidbit I've read on a blog and more often than not I'll get the Rain Man look. A few people will ask what I'm talking about, some will snap out of the dullard look and progress to the "whatever" look.

So if anyone happens to stumble here via Google while doing a search for "fat butts", "weird sex" or "corn fed women", check this out:

What are blogs?

I can sum it up real fast: It's someones web site where they can post whatever, whenever the hell they want. Sometimes normal people will leave comments on your site, most often it's perverts, murder suspects and the women who love them, viagra pushers and last but not least people into hot sex. Not that it's a bad thing. Unless the email address is bogus of course.

Altered Perceptions

Out of sheer boredom the other day I did a Google search for "altered perceptions", and I was happy to notice my site came up number two in over 10,000 hits. I noticed some cool sites named Altered Perceptions and stuck them in my favorites thinking this would make an interesting post.

Well this mornings search shows I'm number one, now why things vary on Google is beyond me. Especially on the first cup of coffee...which translates, I could care less it's too deep for me.

Some of the interesting things I've found:

A definition of altered perceptions in relation to cyberspace:

Sitting quietly and staring at the computer monitor can become an altered state of consciousness. While reading e-mail or text talk in chat rooms, some people experience a blending of their mind with that of the other person. In the imaginary multimedia worlds - where people shape-shift, speak via ESP, walk through walls, and spontaneously generate objects out of thin air - the experience becomes surrealistic. It mimics a state of consciousness that resembles dreams. These altered and dream-like states of consciousness in cyberspace may account for why it is so attractive for some people. It might help explain some forms of computer and cyberspace addiction.

Maybe that's why so many people will refer to things they say or see online as "not really real" "not the real world". They can tell they are in an altered state? Maybe an hypnotic effect?

Another cool site I found Altered Perceptions -Special Effects Make-up and Puppetry. Much of their site seems to be "Under Construction", but I'll definitely keep checking back.

One interesting thing of note, is a published article by Dorothy Womack, Alzheimers: Altered Perceptions. With my memory, I'm not going to touch this one, but it is an interesting read.

Then there is Chern's Altered Perception a website of a 20 year old computer engineer in California. His site looks great too. He's definitely got some cool quotes.

Last but not least, the story Altered Perceptions by Blackbird which could be porn, I don't know. It's way too early in the morning for me to check it out.

The Blog Bandwagon

The Detroit News has decided to jump on the blogging carousel with political bloggers. After all we can't have enough of them, right? Looks like they have about ten of them so far.

Not only that, they are asking for bloggers. So if you're leaning towards political commentary this might make you a star. Now if anyone finds a calling for general bullshitters I hope they pass my name along.

Nothing like a good rant from a self proclaimed expert to make me smile. Thank God for dipshits, they do put humor in my day and remind me to lighten up. Boggling my Mind

Life seems to be interfering with my posting lately. I find myself sitting down at the computer to read the news and my favorite blogs and next thing I know my time is gone. Excuses, excuses. But I really miss it.

One thing that is becoming quite time consuming, and I'm not complaining, just making a comment...is the Hugoists. I have about 30-50 emails a day from comments by them. Enough that I had to upgrade my package on my server yesterday because my disk space was about used up.

I guess it goes to show what a stupid little post about something you find humorous can come back to back to haunt you when you put your opinion out there for the world to see. Who would of thought? Boggles my mind.

A Compliment

I have a young college guy that reads my blog fairly regularly for awhile now. He IM's me maybe every other week or so and just says hi, it's usually very brief. He has a very busy life he tells me...and I'm sure at that age it is quite full.

Anyway, he just IM'd me a little bit ago, and probably gave me one of the best compliments of a different sort that I've ever had. I can't remember all the words but I do remember "I like your sense of humor, your soul feels nice."

So as I'm writing this I think about the compliments I get and give through the day. "Your hair looks nice." "Pretty sweater." "You handled that well." The normal common stuff probably almost everyone says. But somehow "your soul feels nice". Wow, now that was a compliment I'll always remember.

To the young guy: I thank you.

Miracles

I think the Site Meter God dropped by and threw me a crumb. No, not Glenn.

The visitation to my site has been off the hook for me lately. Miracles do occur. A month ago I figured I had pretty much topped my daily traffic at an average of 40-45 hits per day. Well this month things have been looking better. I have no clue why, at first I thought maybe it was all the Hugoists wanting to voice their opinions, but they've backed off. I know I'm not doing anything different. If anything I'm posting less and reading more.

Now that's a thought, maybe if I post less, more people will drop by because they can get out of here quicker? I'll have to think about that for awhile.

Tech Question..Again

Ok it might be tough to follow this question because I know not what I talk about. For about the last month, as some of you can attest too, everytime I link someone and ping them back, it does it twice if not more on their blog. I'm sure that's probably annoying for them, so I've cut down my links to others trying to figure it out. Now that's the laughable part.

Actually my figuring it out entails saying "damn, I need to do something about that." Then promptly forgetting about it til the next time I want to link a post. Ok...so now I'm being pro-active and doing something about it. Help??

ISO Dawn

Jay Solo was playing with Google this morning to find out where he is listed in a search for "Jay". Well I decided I'd try Dawn. I can be a copycat.

I already knew there would be several Dawn's out there before you even counted Dawn dish soap or Tony Orlando's.

Well it seems I am the unlucky number 13 among some great company. Number one on the list is Pakistan's most widely circulated English language newspaper. Dawn, who would of thought?

The next Dawn is a space site. To quote:

Dawn's goal is to characterize the conditions and processes of the solar system's earliest epoch by investigating in detail two of the largest protoplanets remaining intact since their formations. Ceres and Vesta reside in the extensive zone between Mars and Jupiter together with many other smaller bodies, called the asteroid belt. Each has followed a very different evolutionary path constrained by the diversity of processes that operated during the first few million years of solar system evolution.

Interesting, but probably not a place I'm likely to hang out but probably more interesting and stimulating than my site, unless I post porn of course.

Then next Dawn site I'm sure I'll check out is Dawn - Development Alternatives with Women for a New Era. A feminist site working for "economic justice, gender justice and democracy". Alrighty then. I am a woman, I can roar.

Number five on the list is Up Yours by Dawn Olsen. Definitely entertaining and with the first post I read "What's so Wrong with being a Puss" I can see why Dawn is high on the food chain list.

Number 10 on the list is Driving wiht Dawn. Now I discovered this Dawn quite awhile ago and she's always entertaining, informative and once there, you'll keep coming back. Keep on driving girl.

Anyway I'm on the second page but highly amused that the dish soap or Tony Orlando's Dawn still hadn't shown up.

So there you have your basic "Dawn" search.

Doesn't she do an amazing job? My old hacked up mess is finally gone. Joni has a few other things she wants to do on Nude on Fur skin...that I got a brief look at, that is amazing.

If anybody is thinking of new skins Joni is the one to ask. She has the patience of a saint if you are like me and can screw up an email let alone skin a site. The prices are more than reasonable especially when you are talking about a very cheap hobby. Hell I've spent more knitting an afgan then I have on this blog. I get much more enjoyment out of this.

Things I've Missed

I missed reading all my favorite bloggers this week. Since I woke up at 4am AGAIN I decided to catch up. I really missed some great posts this week. I do enjoy every single one of you.

LittleA has been suffering through the pangs of childrens fund raising events...and maybe, just maybe the effects of female hormones.

Andrew is dreaming about the daughter he never had, and could possibly lose. Someday I'll have to post about the dream where I was a man. Now that's was some scarey shit.

Buffy is in mourning and dressing in black for her Cubs. I must of missed some baseball games this week.

Stevie had so much funny shit, that I had no clue what to link. I think the cow gynecological exams tipped the bucket. I can't wait for the calf pulling post this spring....I bet you'll Stevie can explain that one for those of you who don't know.

DaGoddess has bilateral pneumonia. Hopefully she's getting tons of rest and drinking lots of water. Get better soon Goddess.

Phil is on a rant about fat lazy people. Just because of that I crossed the Ben & Jerry's off the grocery list for today. I'm sure some time in the next two weeks I'll curse you for that.

Dean explains the shenanigans going on in the blogosphere by some hackers. He is also advocating teaching your children about guns. Been there, done that and would do it again. Ignorance about guns can be deadly.

Now for...Death I have no clue where to start. You have masturbation, nipping out, metrosexual, benefits of fellatio and last but far from being the least cell phones. I have to go back and read it all again.

Daria damnit has the new Clay CD and I'm jealous. Yes I like Clay, I like Reuben and I can live with your scorn.

Gennie , now what can I say about Gennie that won't make me sound catty and jealous? Nothing damn it! She's got great hair, a great pedicure and she's got a damn Halloween make over on her blog. If she keeps this shit up, she's going off the blogroll.

Geoffrey is dumping his girlfriend because she fucked up The Baseball Game. That's right ladies he is eligible and he's not retarded and he can cook. That alone gets him 2 points.

The other Dawn shares 50 things about herself.

Charles of Dustbury is house-a-hunting. I'm glad it's you and not me, I hate moving.

Lexxiblog has a great Rigatoni Beef Bake recipe posted. Rigatoni is my favorite pasta. Which reminds me I made rigatoni and Italian sausages Sunday and it's been totally forgotten this week. Rally's, Wendy's and Off The Grill has been the meals of the day this week.

Daniel at Lobowalk is calling all Dimwits. Of course I had to respond.

Anna at Primal Purge is reminiscing about furniture polish. Ahh...I have a few of those memories too. Pledge rules.

The Sage is just a little bit cranky this week....tread lightly.

Sea Doc is Far From Perfect and I think that's great.

Tony is talking about why data is lost. Hmmm. In my business it's called Alzheimers. Yeah, yeah...different data.

Sgt. Hook is talking about big guns over on his blob blog.

Kelley is vacationing and visiting Kate while I'm working my ass off. Somethings are just not fair.

Erica is still unpacking from her move while trying to adjust to a night time work schedule. God I remember those days of working night shift. It just sucked. Oh..by the way, I still have boxes I never unpacked from my last move 3 years ago. Oh well.

Deb has quit smoking and she's going through withdrawals. Hang in there Deb. You can do it.

LeeAnn has a public service announcement for women. Damn good advice too.

Dax is turning into a long haired hippy freak who does karaoke. He just blew the shit out of my image of him. Just Damn!

Tiger has some truths on blogging and gave me a few ideas in the process. I haven't resorted to posting pictures of my breasts....yet. If at any time I say blogging is better than sex...someone please shoot me.

Velociman you are so warped. I just love ya.

Well Kelley has done it again this weeks Cul-De-Sac is out, longer and better than ever.

Kelley makes sure that whatever you might have a taste for it's included in the Cul-De-Sac. Well almost anyway. Good enough to keep you busy for hours.

Check it out.

How the hell do they expect me to find all my favorites?

Well as you can see I was playing with pictures and boxes this morning. I obvious suck at this, but what the hell.

The point is Acidman is alive and well. You can follow that link to find him, or the little itty bitty one on the bottom of the too big Times box.

Even if the rumours of his demise were true, he's too damn onery not to post from the other side.

Demanding a Recount

Is anybody else having problems with Site Meter?

I didn't get home til fairly late last night and since I usually obsessively glance at site meter to see what my pitiful hits stats were for the day I notice that they weren't available for the last 8 hours.

Most of yesterdays info is like gone. Is it just me?

At this rate I'll end up an insignificant STD bacteria that still responds to penicillin on the Ecosystem.

Question

I'm really ignorant on bandwidth..blah, blah.

If this is my package:

25 MB Space
10 E-Mail Accounts
5 Subdomains
3 GB Bandwidth
PHP, mySQL, CGI Bin

And this is what I have used:

Hosting package Starter
Subdomains 0 / 5
Parked Domains 1 / 25
Addon Domains 0 / 0
Mysql Databases 0 / 1
Disk usage 9.84 Megabytes
SQL Disk usage 0.00 Megabytes
Disk space available 15.16 Megabytes
Bandwidth usage (current month) 159.38 Megabytes
Email Accounts 0 / 10
Email Forwarders 0
Autoresponders 0
Mailing Lists 0 / 5
Email filters 0
Ftp Accounts 0 / 5

Am I ok, do I need to worry? Is this like stats for the month? The year? Do I need to buy more? And last but not least....what is a subdomain?

Yes, I am as stupid about this as I sound.

Drumroll....

Well I added some new sites to the old blogroll today. I hope you check them out. Sketches of Strain, Lobowalk , and last but not least The Cheese Stands Alone .

I gave a couple of others the ax only because 9 out of 10 times I can't get their pages to load. So I have no clue if there is good stuff going on there or not.

I need to get rid of the SARs Watch blog, but I'm afraid that one act of killing that on my blogroll might create a glitch in the universe and make SARs reappear. I couldn't bear the weight of that on my shoulders. So it shall stay. At least until some other deadly epidemic surfaces and can replace it with a blog of it's own. I must remember not to blogroll any new diseases...I can't stand the drama.

This Weeks Cul-De-Sac

I can't think of a better place to start reading blogs today then here:

culdesac.jpg

How do you like that nifty little image? There is definitely no one out there that can take a walk through the world of blogs like Kelley of Suburban Blight .

To quote her on the current Cul-De-Sac:

126 blogs, 101 trackback pings, and over 140 individual posts are included in this week's effort.

That's alot of effort and work, check it out for yourself.

I Finally Did It

Yes I did. I finally contacted Joni about doing something to change my site. I hope she survives me. I went whoa! had a little trouble answering those questions.

I'm sure she will be shaking her head when she reads the answer for: Do you use php or HTML? My intelligent answer to this question: Huh? I wanted to answer a Dell...but knew that was probably not what she was looking for.

I suppose the answer to the question :What platform do I use?" was not "a soapbox" either. I had to think about it awhile, I hope the correct answer was Windows XP?

God, I hope she don't dump me. I know if I was her I'd be reading my letter thinking "this woman is too stupid for words."

Isn't it scarey that people like me can even have a blog?

The Ten Commandments of Blogging

Tobacco Road Fogey has a real jewel here. I love it, I think you will too:

The Ten Commandments of Blogging

1. Thou shalt have no life before blogging, except to provide material for thy blog.

2. Thou shalt not make thy blog like any other, either in appearance or style, for the blogging gods are jealous of their godliness. (exception granted for the denizens of Blog*Spot, for they shall be taught the error of their ways).

3. Thou shalt not take the names of more popular bloggers in vain, else they will not link to thee.

4. Keep no day away from thy blog, for that will be the day that a more popular blogger will view thy site and find thy content stale, and all of thy work toward getting a link from them or being added to their blogroll will have been wasted.

5. Honor those more popular who link to thee. Reciprocate their link to thee and populate their comments and/or email with paeans of honor, lest they find thee unworthy and cast thee into outer darkness.

6. Thou shalt not delink one more popular than thee.

7. Neither shall thou link to those that they have delinked.

8. Neither shalt thou post material not thine own without a link to the source.

9. Neither shalt thou take sides in a blog war against one who links to thee.

10. Neither shalt thou covet the traffic of one more popular, nor a place on their blogroll, nor a graphic on their site.

And, as is usually the case with Ten Commandment lists, there is an Eleventh Commandment:

11. Fix thy permalinks and keep them in the best of repair always, for they are the path to traffic (and heaven).

If there is anybody left that hasn't checked him out...it's a gotta do it.

I was going to do some gratuitous linking of a few of my favorites until I read this:

Erica of Swirlspice answers what it means to be white. Interesting read coming from a biracial viewpoint. Really deep for someone so young.

Erica, life is too short for it to be a big deal. The fact that some people miss that fact is why at such a young age it is on your mind. Your post makes my heart hurt in ways I can't put into words.

Strange Sensations and Mozilla Firebird

I always have this compulsion to mess with the template on Sundays. This compelling need to change colors or fonts. So far I've resisted it...but it's getting harder.

I. Will. Not. Screw. With. The. Template.

On the advice of Dean , I downloaded Mozilla Firebird yesterday. After all he is the one that got me off of Blogspot and on to MT. So he is my blogging internet god. So if he gives the thumbs up, I will humbly follow.

So I've been cruising around. I've had one serious freeze up with a strange noise....sort of scared the shit out of me, but I survived it. As for pages loading quicker I haven't noticed anything different from IE. What I do notice is if I call up AOL to get my email it takes it a little longer to load. No biggy.

I think Tony first said on his blog that the little buttons for italics, bold etc. is gone from MT posting page, and he's right, they aren't there. Again, no biggy, I never got mine to work....or I never figured it out anyway.

I've only noticed one blog that looks different and that's .....an error occurred then it's only slightly in the layout of the frames.

Then there was another Chris Lawrence that says "Access Denied"....but 30 minutes later I could load it.

So I'm still on the fence here.

Blogs

Somewhere this summer I read a post on someones blog that said 99% of people writing blogs write crap.

Now I don't know about you, but my list of blogs I read just keeps on growing. I need to spend an hour just updating my blogroll to once again match what is in my favorites folder.

Kelley at Suburban Blight keeps posting this dang Cul-De-Sac where she lists links to other bloggers and some damn fine posting. Yes, I happen to be on this one, but I also now have 5 more blogs added to the FF.

I find myself more and more doing things while I'm reading blogs. Painting and filing my nails, grabbing a sandwich, ... I think you get the picture.

Anyway some of you are going to have to quit blogging so much when the new TV season starts. Sundays - the Sopranos, please try to have all blogging done by 3pm. Tuesdays "24" is on so please, no blogging. There is just not enough time to get home from work, read blogs and watch TV. I do not want to have to move a TV in this room. If you must blog, please try to get to the point quickly.

Thank you*

Pimping through the Blogosphere

I decided to take a stroll through a few blogs that are new to me. Found some interesting stuff too.

Now I could spend days on Incoming Signals, if you don't see me for awhile. I'll be here.

Monkey Media Report asks a very good question:

I'm curious: Does anyone honestly believe that Kerry, Gephart, Edwards and Lieberman were somehow unaware last October that the rationale for an immediate invasion of Iraq was complete horseshit? Please, do speak up.

John at FreeSpeech asks another good question:

Assume you were the President on 9/11/2001. What would you have done over the last two years to prevent further attacks?

Interesting, I'm not sure I would of shown as much restraint as Bush has, and as I've said before I have no regrets for the actions this country has taken. Which brings me too:

This guy just pissed me off with all of his self-righteous anger and false mourning. Maybe he needs to start blogging for charity. Which I found courtesy of Dancing with Dogs.

Geoffrey that guy makes me want to be you for a day. If only I could have that wit and sarcasm just for a little bit. Maybe Gordon too.

Lili Marleen posts about the last will of a terrorist, Mohammed Atta. I can't wait to see what Allah has to say about this.

Stand Tall

Acidman this morning posted a picture of his son and his son's friend mooning him.

Well the gates of the looney bin has been opened wide and he is having flames and threats thrown at him for something so absolutely innocent and fun.

What is so wrong with some people that they have this need to destroy? The need to hurt and tear down others? I don't get it. I never have, never will.

When I seen the picture this morning...my gut reaction was: They are going to attack this man. I so wanted to be wrong.

Some have given their opinions that Rob should take down the picture...just to save any future hassle. I can understand if he wanted too. He says he doesn't...and I can understand his feelings to stand tall on this and fuck em all. It's a matter of principles now. You can't let the sick bastards or bitches wear you down. Even if it seems they are growing in numbers.

Moblogging

Just think this way you could see 8x10 glossy photos and hear me cussing all the way to work every morning. I could show you all 8 red lights I sit at in the last 2 mile stretch to work every day as I sing along to the classic rock station. Actually show you the "No Left Turn" place where I turn left every morning. Stop whining...I'm just kidding.

It's really quite simple, though. Moblogging is the latest way to update your Web log with text, pictures or sound via a properly equipped "smart phone," such as the Nokia 3650 or the Sony Ericcson P800, and a blog host such as Blogger (www.blogger.com) or Typepad (www.typepad.com) that supports the service.

Moblogging works like this: You're somewhere, anywhere, away from the computer, but you want to update your blog. So you whip out your celly, snap a picture, record some sound or message in some text. Push a button to connect to your blog server and voila! -- instant update.

But for those of you with exciting lifes, check this out.

Fumento Who?

I think everyone has run across someone in their life who is so arrogant it's laughable. Of course, unless they are family you never remember their names, probably not even their faces. You remember it the same way you remember seeing a car going down the interstate the wrong way. Just that it happened and someone was a complete fool. You realize that ignorance knows no boundaries.

Well here is your chance to have one of those foggy memories. A glance at ignorance unchained. Some unknown named Fumento is bragging over at Acidman's blog how self important he is. He brags that he has five books, I wonder if he would get any sales if anyone actually knew what he was like. His contact with editors must be extremely limited. His earthworm personality definitely shines especially when he calls bloggers arrogant and of course he has a blog. Go figure.

Bullshit

My blogroll seems to be lit up like a Christmas tree tonight with "updated" behind several. Wow...so many people with something to say. So I started hopping around the blogroll...clicking link after link, having a great time.

Then I run on the this stupid ass blog feud thing going on. I follow a link to a site where somebody (not one of the feuders) actually gathered one of the feuders comments over the past couple of months from around the blogosphere...to share with the world, because he's ticked off because that feuder didn't delete a comment that he felt might have helped end it.

Excuse me, but is this bizarre behavior too...or am I once again the odd person out that missed the boat?

If I missed the boat...I'm so damn glad. These people have way too much free time.
