Wireless Carriers
AOL this morning has the Consumer Report on wireless carriers. I have Sprint, which has improved alot over the past three years, but still sucks. We have all of these wonderful new smart phone gadgets but the services can't seem to catch up. This paragraph sums it up: Every national wireless carrier has chronic major problems with service, billing, and complaint-handling, according to our third annual subscriber survey, our most expansive to date. But they did come up with the best of the bad: Verizon. Comments
ya know........I was just thinking today at work, they can't make a staple remover that won't tear an important original document, but they can make a cell phone that takes a damn picture. Folks need to stop whining about cellular services. Holy Mother of God, it's a little itty bitty hunk of metal that you can make calls from anywhere, no plugs, no wires, no telephone poles you have to lug around with you. Our expectations are way beyond reality. People have to realize that The Matrix was a damn movie, sci-fi, fiction, born from someone's over-active creative mind. Phones don't need to be able to transport us back to the mother ship. A cell phone that will contact AAA when I have a flat is all I need. If you read the last post you would of figured out I'm isolating myself and being moody. It tends to keep up the ongoing myth of my eccentricity and plain weirdness. Besides when I talk to you it makes me laugh and it gets hard to get moody again, you disrupt my aura or whatever that is. Posted by: Dawn at January 12, 2005 08:52 PM
