Things I Do Not Understand
I just had the most interesting experience on my own blog. I tried to post a comment on a earlier post and it wouldn't let me. It said I had "questionable content: men. Please edit my entry." Huh? Now I've questioned men and their comments my whole life but I've not set up my blog to do it for me. Now I don't have filters set up, I'm not even sure there are filters for MT...so what's the deal? Anybody else had any problems posting here? I have a feeling it might have something to do with MT Blacklist which I've been having a few problems with as of late...but once again I'm clueless. Okay, I know very little about MT and the mechanism it uses to filter c o m m e n t s, but I do know that one time at work one of the mail admins decided he wanted to block/filter any messages that contained the word viagra. Unfortunately, instead of typing in the full word, "Viagra", he merely typed in "via." This meant that any message that contained the word "via" also got blocked. Took us two weeks to figure out why some of these messages were getting intermittently blocked from external senders.
