New Job
It seems I've been contemplating forever getting a new job. Damn if I don't want to do something different. I think I've found the perfect job for me: Doesn't that sound like the perfect job? Comments
I haven't even clicked the link yet and I am laughing my ass off! Posted by: JonahC at September 26, 2004 08:35 AMmaybe Bob needs one (a toy... hopefully that thought is reason to laugh, as I too have an irreverent sense of humor and get misunderstood a lot... scanning back through this curent page of entries, being that it's either my first time here or it's been ages since I last visited {and I think it's the latter cuz the address is familiar}, I noticed a lot of Bob... if he's seeking attention, he's getting a lot of it... but the first laughing that comes to mind when I hear that particular name is the film "What About Bob?"... now that's needy and based on what you wrote about your personality, independent and all, I suppose needy would grate on your nerves... but this comment was not supposed to be all about Bob, hence the parentheses)... now, for an assortment of comments that refer to your past entries, almost at random: I spent time enjoying the links you included (and will probably slip a few into my ramblings, so thank you for your web browsing and sharing)... I still have not seen "Passion", one of these nights... I too have a fondness for Jack Handy's Deep Thoughts... I am always intrigued by someone who reads a variety of newspapers and information sources, mostly because I am an information junkie, but also because I wish I had the time to explore everything more... I found it amusing that I remembered the Alice Cooper song and then connected the first line with a Spice Girls song... maybe I found that scary, musically speaking... I always wondered how one of those calendar things work in a blog/journal (one day I'll get software to do things automatically for me, but for now all of my online ramblings are done by hand which is why the designs are so simple)... the image on your page is interesting and I wonder how the effect was created, was it a photo first or is it a painting or something else?... ultimately, I arrived here (this time at least) from somewhere else based on the name of your site... I appreciate and view most everything through altered perceptions, but then, that is the nature of perception and individuality... some of us just alter a bit more than others... I hope you continue writing and I hope I find time to return to read more as I enjoyed my visit this morning... and may that bring a smile to your day :) Posted by: candoor at September 27, 2004 10:36 AMThank you Candoor, you did bring a smile to my day. I love it when new people drop by. The picture I found online cruising one day a couple of years ago. I loved it. There is also 2 more that goes with this one..but of the 3 I liked this one the best. Although the person looks absolutely nothing like me I could so relate to just sitting on the bed, or anywhere looking off into space thinking about God knows what. Sometimes I think I spend too much time just thinking and I'm not sure it's fruitful to anything. Oh well. Again, thanks for stopping by. Posted by: Dawn at September 27, 2004 06:07 PMBased on the other ads at that site, I suspect that before you got that job you'd be paying a lot of money to be considered for it. Sounds like fun though... and maybe worth the buy-in! Posted by: John at September 27, 2004 10:59 PM
