Happy Brits

I'm still wondering if this is a hoax:

THE anti-depressant drug Prozac is being taken in such large quantities in Britain that it has entered water supplies.

Experts from the Environmental Agency are calling for an immediate investigation after it emerged that quantities of the medication were found in rivers and groundwater used for drinking supplies.

Now if this happened in America I'd probably believe it. Happy water sounds like a good thing to me.

Supposedly this is happening more and more, people flush their drugs instead of trashing them. Who knows what's in the reserviors of major cities in America? Not to mention the Great Lakes! I don't doubt that there will come a time when these medications are found everywhere. Apples filled with paxil, for example.
