What the Hell?
I went to the dentist today to get my teeth cleaned. Now it feels like my teeth are wobbling. What's up with that? Who would of thought tartar was a stabilizer. Comments
Me. I believe that. Not only do your teeth feel wobbly, but the tip of your tongue seems to snag on every little gap and uneven space between your teeth for a day or two afterwards. But, if you don't go, you lose your teeth and have much bigger, more permanent gaps to worry about. Posted by: andrew at March 30, 2004 05:10 AMThat happens to me, too. Weird. I think it's because the hygienist has more leverage when flossing your teeth than you do in your own mouth. Posted by: Erica at March 30, 2004 08:43 AMI have noticed it too. Kinda freaks me out. Posted by: Grey Biker at March 30, 2004 08:47 AMI always stop at Starbucks after leaving the dentist's office to start the 'recementing' process. I hate the way my teeth feel rough after being cleaned. And I always sit in the chair and think, "My mom always told me not to pick at my teeth with anything metal and now I'm PAYING someone else to do it!" Go figure. Posted by: LittleA at March 30, 2004 10:02 AMI had a tooth removed recently -- a wisdom tooth, so it's not like I actually needed it. For about two weeks, my teeth ached as they resettled, and now the back wisdom tooth I still have seems to keep bumping my back molar that now opposes it. I believe that dentistry is one of those "cumulative upkeep" professions, like textbook writer and political correctness czar. The more you fix, the more you have to fix.
