I agree about Iowa being a nice place to live. I went to school in Ames many years ago and liked it.

But, that list is suspect. Crammed into the top ten with Iowa are Vermont, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire. They're good places to live if you're extremely liberal, like to be taxed, are homosexual and want to marry or become an official in the Episcopal Church.
