AIM
I added AOL Instant Messenger icon to my site today. I did have Yahoo Messenger on here, but I've had mega problems with it. It shows me signed on when I'm not, not signed on when I am. Lately I haven't even been able to sign on which is really screwing me up talking with my kids. Now I'll try this and see how it works, and see if I can talk them into trying it. The yahoo's love Yahoo...what's with that? Comments
Personally, MSN/Windows Messenger is my favorite. It comes built into XP, so everyone has a copy. Although I have accounts on all the major chat services, I rarely use them. If I need yahoo or AOL or ICQ, I'll use Trillian to enable them all at once. Posted by: Doc at October 4, 2003 10:59 AMWe tried Windows Messenger first since we both have Windows XP, but the webcam's didn't work well with Net Meeting or some such shit. I have no clue what Trillian is, so I guess I'll do a Google search on that one. Posted by: Dawn at October 4, 2003 11:25 AMI was just looking at that AIM Remote thingy yesterday (or the day before...?). So now I guess I'll wait and see what you have to say about it. Heh. Posted by: Erica at October 5, 2003 08:59 AMYahoo! Msgr has some neat features that aim doesn't (more emoticons, file xfer, voice and cam functionality). That said, Yahoo! chat/msgr has major buggy issues that often make it a pain to use. Posted by: Ron C at October 5, 2003 11:48 AM
