I'm leaving for home this morning. I won't be back til Sunday night. I didn't pursue, whine or hound anybody to be a guest blogger. It's a holiday weekend, the last one we get until Thanksgiving...argh! I hope everyone enjoys the last couple of weekends left of summer.
I know in Iowa we can usually expect the first flakes of snow to fly before the end of September...30 days from now. Sounds sick doesn't it?
So I'll be heading out to the airport in about an hour, hopefully a little ahead of the holiday travelers. Probably not.

Posted by: LittleA at August 29, 2003 01:58 PMGoing home, if even for a week, sure sounds refreshing. I used to visit my parents when they moved to Missouri. It was the only vacation I could afford, and it was nice to be with family.
When the little town I grew up in got it's second stop light, I stopped, as though the stop sign was still there, and then drove through a red light. Some habits are hard to break. *G*
And as for guest bloggers.....that never works. We come here to read what YOU have to say, and it just wouldn't be the same.
