Well I got home from work at 8. Ugh whatta day. Some of the things on my agenda as I walk in the door.

State surveyor in on a complaint investigation - it was unfounded, he left at 3pm.
Medical Records gal had walked out...no one has done filing, closing records etc. since I've been gone.
No Admission's person, the spot did not get filled.
One nurse to fire.
Two Union grievances to hear today. Three nursing assistants to fire.
Dietician had her baby...leaves me to do her job of rapidly reviewing and documenting the weight of 150+ people, notifying families/MD's of weight losses and gains.
I am having a corporate survey Wednesday...which they require a weeks worth of gathering of materials. I have 2 days.
My staffer did not show up til noon. She's walking a fine line.
32 pieces of corporate email requiring something...my printer is broke.
An entire family descends on me to discuss the in's and outs of tube feeding, advance directives, and hospice vs comfort care, actually the most important thing I did today.
32 people stop me to ask me what I did on vacation - I could wrap that up fast.
4 people told me at 8:30am I looked 10 years younger, at 7pm they told me to go home I looked like shit. That still makes me laugh.
Chewed out 3 different vendors for not sending the supplies I need.
Sent one drug rep's ass flying out the door.
Found out I am probably being sued.

Oh glory days, it's so good to be back.
