TGIF
I need to go into work early this morning to bitch to my 11-7 shift. Just in case you are wondering why I am up at 4am. Actually I had to type this to remind myself. I usually get up by 6am, 5:30..somewhere in there. That seems light years away about now. The only good thing about going in this early is I can drive like a fucking maniac getting to work. Do you have any idea how sweet it is to be able to drive 80+ where you are usually going 30mph in stop and go, stop and go traffic. I haven't had a speeding ticket for two years. I'm due. At times like this it's worth the price. There is something very freeing about being able to drive fast. Two years ago when the cop asked "Do you know how fast you were going?" and I smile and say "Oh yeah" that even makes me feel better. I'm not real sure what the law is in MI, but in Iowa if you are caught going over 25mph above the posted speed you used to lose your license, maybe still do...so it wasn't as much fun then. Anyway..here, ignorance is bliss. The second best part of this day is getting into my car to go home...it's damn near like an orgasm. See why I like Fridays? Comments
